Soccer!

We are so excited for Nicholas as he starts his very first team sport! We were so proud of him as on his first day he jumped right in there with the kids who have been on the team a while, and started playing like he's done it forever. His favorite so far is learning how to run while dribbling the ball and practicing how to kick with his left foot. His first game is Sept 12th! We are so excited!

Camping in the back yard!

We haven't made it caming yet this summer so Daddy made us a fire pit and set up a tent in the back yard, and on warm nights we hang out by the fire, eat s'mores, and pretend we are camping in the woods! We can't wait for our first camping trip this year, But we are having fun "back yard camping" for now!

This last weekend we got to go out to Lake Tapps on the Boat with the Moores! We did some tubing and lots of Jumping in the lake and swimming! it was so fun and Its about 88 right now and I can't help but wish I was out on the lake again right now!

Pools!

We got new pools and set them up for the boys today! It was nice to get outside and play! The water is still a litte cold in the big pool so Nicholas played a little in the baby pool with his bro-bro and had squirt gun fights and did some yard work with Daddy. Ayden liked his pool, but it was a little later in the afternoon when Nicholas got home from school and the pools were all ready so he got sleepy and was a little discourage after his first face palnt in the water! ( He's learning how to cruise while holding on to things, he hasn't quite mastered his step and Mr Curious had to get up on the big pool to check it out!) Tomorrow its suppose to get near 80 and we are SO ready for some outside playing and our little "Heatwave"! Hopefully we will get lots of use out of our pools this summer!

First of many summer Adventures!

The weather has been really nice lately, so on this day when Dad got home he said come on guys lets go on an adventure! Of course Nicholas was so excited so we got ready, jumped in the car, and drove down to this spot on the Carbon river that Brandon and I used to go, the water was high but we found a spot to climb down under the over pass. It was a really nice spot. There was some sand and places on the river where we could walk and play in the water! It was really fun! Nicholas, Brandon and I had fun skipping rocks and Dad and Nicholas walked out to the middle little Island. Ayden was desperate to eat the rocks! He was trying so hard to be fast and sneaky to get them up to his mouth! Ayden loved the water, even thought it was cold he still wanted to have his hands and feet in it! We had a great time and plan on spending more time there this summer! One of the great things about Washington State is there is so many Beautiful unknown spots and if you just explore, you can find some wonderful things!!

Things have been busy for us but wonderful! we are gearing up for summer & we are so excited for the warm weather and Summer fun! It's going to be a extra fun Summer this year because Mommy get to be home with the boys all suummer, So we are going to make the best of it and do lots of outdoor things! Daddys playing soft ball again this summer and we really enjoy it when it's nice weather and we get to go watch him play! Yesterday we registered Nicholas for Soccer! The soccer season starts in September! We were too late to register him for t ball this year but we are going to be on top of it next season, Nicholas really enjoys playing baseball & surprises us with how well he can hit the ball & that is his favorite sport to play so far. We are also going to get him started in Cub scouts next year, I looked online and they have a pack through his school, so we are excited for him to do that, I think it is a GREAT thing for boys to keep busy! Thats all for now, we will try to keep our Blogging going! It's neat to read updates on all of our Family!

Last week Nicholas got a cough and some sniffles and it lasted a few days but then Ayden got all stuffed up and has a cough and mom started feeling yucky too. Nicholas is feeling better now and mom and Ayden are starting to turn the corner on feeling better again. Luckily dad never got it (must be his studly immune system!) And on a side note daddy is still in mourning over the loss of Bea Arthur :( RIP Bea.
